A few more ramblings

Well as my previous posts show life still has it's moments, but it's not all partying and play. I've been through a one month training program at work to prepare me for my new job which I'm settling into, and have been at for the past month. It's much more challenging, and I have had to change shifts more than my body is able to get use to. Fortunately, I'll be back on nights starting next week. I can't wait! Spring is finally arriving, and we've had some nice weather. I always look forward to the warm weather, so I can get out and enjoy it. My grandaughter is now 2 yrs old, and I look forward to being able to take her down to the lake, and watch her on the play ground. Also my friend Natalie will be comming home after a 4 month stay in Costa Rica doing missionary work. I think she is a wonderfull person who has focus in her life that most young people lack now a days. My friend Linda is in Ternopil, Ukraine helping teach the teachers to teach....that's a bit of a tongue twister. She's doing fine. I guess that brings things up to date with me.

I was asked to join my old band mates again to help celebrate Johnny"O"s 40th birthday party. Our host and hostest again Tina and Bernie always make everyone feel welcome. I think the pics will tell the story. Pics start a bottom and work their way up in order...enjoy.

Bringing in the New Year

I was aked to help out my old band mates by playing a New Years Eve party, and I was happy to help. Bernie and Tina are great hosts, and have a great house to party in. They decided to make this a Hawiian theme party to help warm our Canadian winter. A good time was had by all. Happy New Year!

Frank& friend enjoying the great outdoors

Various musicians

Glenn Healy& friend

Richie our host

What have you been missing since I've been unable to download? Let me bring you up to speed. Before Christmas there was a musicians party that is attended by Glenn Healy (former Toronto Maple Leafs gole tender playing bagpipes) whenever he can. It usually brings together about 30 great musicians, and their friends. Our host Richie has a great place that backs onto Lake Ontario, so bon-fire, food, drinks, and of course good friends make this a must attend bash. Here are just a few pics to give you a sense of Canadian hospitality...enjoy!

For you Dave

Hope you are well, we all miss you.

It's only money.....YIKES!!!

Well you know what they say. If you want to play with the big boys "it'll cost ya" and cost me it did. I finally bought a new pc, and I'm really happy I did. The old one was nothing but trouble, but before I knew it I was out of pocket $1,500. I don't know all the tech stuff about pc's, but this one has plenty for my needs. There are so many deals out there it's hard to know what's good, and what isn't. I'm sure for what I do with it I'll be happy a long time. At least now I can exchange photos on my blog and through e-mail, and download music, and videos very fast! It's nice to able to watch a youtube video without it pausing every couple of seconds. I'll take my time, and start to add photos to my site to keep family, and friends up to date. I guess that's all for now I have to go wonder the streets, and check the curbs for pennies and nickles to help pay for this necessity.
